Sourced directly from a traditional artisan boulangerie in the historic town of Laon, in Northern France.

This basket was acquired upon the closing of the bakery, following the retirement of its third-generation baker. Having run the family business for 45 years—a trade passed down to him by his father and grandfather before him—the baker finally hung up his apron to enjoy a well-earned retirement spending quiet days tending his allotment. A piece with genuine history, heart, and generations of French baking heritage woven right into it.
