Thank you for shopping with vintagemidcentury.co.uk. We want you to be completely satisfied with your unique vintage purchase. Please review our full return, cancellation, and refund policies below.

1. Returns Process

We have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the exact same condition that you received it: unworn or unused, with any original tags intact, and in its original packaging. You will also need to provide the receipt or proof of purchase.

How to Start a Return

  1. To initiate a return, please email us as soon as possible at vintagemidcentury1@gmail.com.

  2. If your return is accepted, we will email you detailed instructions on how and where to send your package.

  3. Please note: Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will strictly not be accepted.

2. Order Cancellations & Fees

Because our items are unique, one-of-a-kind vintage pieces, they are automatically removed from our live website and securely reserved for you the moment your order is placed.

  • Before Dispatch: If you request a cancellation after placing an order but before the item has left our warehouse, you will receive a refund minus a £45 administration and relisting fee. This fee covers the operational and digital costs of reversing the checkout process, physically restoring the item to our inventory, and re-marketing the piece across our online platform.

  • After Dispatch: Once an item has been handed over to our courier, the order cannot be cancelled. It must instead be treated as a standard return, and the buyer will be responsible for all return shipping costs.

3. Damages, Issues & Exceptions

Inspection Upon Arrival

Please inspect your order thoroughly upon reception. Contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged, or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Non-Returnable Items

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on any sale items.

4. European Union 14-Day Cooling-Off Period

Notwithstanding the terms above, if your goods are being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without justification.

As stated above, your item must be in the exact same condition that you received it, unused, and in its original packaging. You will also need to provide your receipt or proof of purchase.

5. Refunds Timeline

We will notify you once we have received and inspected your returned item, and let you know whether your refund has been approved.

If approved, you will be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please keep in mind that it can take additional time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund to your account.
