Description & Condition

A stylish and solid set of three mid-century teak armchairs crafted by Bathcraft. Featuring beautifully sculpted organic curved armrests and shaped backrests typical of the Scandinavian-influenced design of the era. The frames have been thoroughly cleaned and treated with traditional wax to nourish the wood grain, showing light age-related marks that reflect their history. They are exceptionally sturdy, robust, and comfortable.

The drop-in seat pads have been fully reupholstered in a modern blue-and-white geometric Aztec pattern fabric, updated with fire-retardant materials to comply with current safety standards.

Provenance

Acquired directly from a lovely customer who was downsizing. She had retained these last three remaining chairs from a larger set and was keen for them to find a good new home where their craftsmanship could continue to be appreciated.
