The Table
A sleek and versatile Mid-century Farstrup dining table exemplifies refined Danish design from the 1960s. Crafted in rich, warm teak, this rectangular table features a clean-lined profile with beautifully tapered legs and discreet drawer-leaf extensions at each end—perfect for effortlessly accommodating guests.

Designed with functionality and modern aesthetics in mind, the Vintage Scandinavian dining table extends from a compact everyday form to a generous hosting size. Its proportions and symmetry make it an ideal centrepiece for British modern interiors, seamlessly blending with both vintage and contemporary settings.

Vintage Scandinavian dining table - Farstrup was a leading name in Scandinavian furniture during the mid-century era, known for quality craftsmanship and minimalist silhouettes. This piece is a testament to that legacy, combining timeless design with enduring construction.

Offered in good vintage condition with minor age-related wear to the teak surface, consistent with its 1960s origin and part of its authentic charm. 

This table has been refinished in our workshop and features a light coating of wax for protection.

Farstrup Danish teak dining chairs - This is a refined set of four Danish mid-century dining chairs by Farstrup, attributed to renowned designers Johannes Andersen or Erik Buch. Crafted in the 1960s - 70s, these sculptural Mid-century Danish dining chairs capture the essence of Scandinavian functionalism with their clean lines, organic curves, and high-quality teak construction.

Each chair features a gently curved, rectangular backrest and a matching, padded seat, both upholstered in the original Vintage sky-blue fabric, well-preserved and full of vintage charm. The frames showcase warm teak tones, elegant tapering legs, and sturdy mortise-and-tenon joinery, typical of the era's craftsmanship.
