A charming early 20th century French painted jardinière, dating from around 1900–1930.

We sourced this decorative piece in France. It has a generous oval shape and retains its wonderfully aged blue painted finish.

Hand-painted brown and russet leaves decorate the upper section. Purple tulips and green foliage run around the base. Years of use have created attractive rubbing, scratches and small areas of paint loss.

The interior has a zinc lining, which makes the jardinière both attractive and highly practical.

We sourced this jardinière in France, where it had clearly seen many years of practical use.

It retains its aged blue surface, floral decoration and zinc-lined interior. The natural wear gives the piece a wonderfully authentic appearance.
